PowerMarket annual Spring Outing just happened at Randall Island! A huge shoutout to everyone who joined. In celebration of Earth Month, it was an enriching activity spending time in the sun soaked outdoors enjoying the smell of fresh grass removing invasive plant species and cleaning up the park's natural spaces.

Invasive species removal is critical to the ecological value and biodiversity of parks. We removed bulk loads of invasive plants such as Mugwort, Dandelions, and more. Headquartered in New York City, PowerMarket is committed to making an impact and sustaining the growth of our local communities and environment. It is our shared mission to work towards building a better world by revitalizing local communities with renewable energy and supporting environmental and social focused organizations.

Randall Island Park Alliance is a non-profit located on Randall and Wards Island. It is a green oasis in New York City. The Park Alliance volunteers maintain many natural areas of the island ranging from Salt and Freshwater marshes to their Urban Farm!
