Helping people has always been second nature to Laura—she loves solving problems, offering support, and making life a little brighter. These days, her biggest adventure is being a first-time mom to her sweet daughter. Parenthood has taught her patience, adaptability, and the fine art of functioning on very little sleep! When she's not chasing tiny hands that grab everything in sight, she's outside soaking up the sun with her husband and daughter, tending to her garden, or trying (and sometimes failing) to keep her indoor plants alive. Babies and houseplants have a lot in common—they both demand attention, thrive in the right conditions, and aren’t shy about letting you know when something’s wrong!

Katie has always believed that healing people and healing the environment are two sides of the same coin, so for the past few years, she has worked as a victim advocate. Although she has a zest for travel, Katie is happy to get back to her roots in the environmental movement in New York. In her spare time, you might find her falling off a surfboard or staring at a sunset.
