PowerMarket Partners with Local Non-Profits to Drive Community Impact

By Corporate

BUFFALO, NY - PowerMarket has partnered with eight non-profits to amplify their impact through donations, events, and renewable energy solutions. These collaborations have secured the benefits of community solar for more than 1,000 low-income and disadvantaged community households, while supporting programs like food pantries, youth mentorship, and resource centers.

“Signing up more than 1,000 low-income households for community solar is a milestone we’re incredibly proud of,” said Jason Kaplan, President of PowerMarket. “But none of this would be possible without the dedication of our local partners—the community-based organizations that work tirelessly to uplift and support the people they serve. These partnerships are the foundation of our success, ensuring that real savings reach the households that need them most. By working together, we’re not just reducing energy costs; we’re reinvesting in communities, empowering families, and strengthening the local organizations that make a lasting impact every day.”

Through contributions and in-kind support, PowerMarket has strengthened partnerships with local non-profits, enhancing their ability to serve vulnerable populations, including:
