Our mission at the Nature Museum is to help create responsible caretakers of the environment. Now, with the region's largest Community Solar Farm ready to come online our members and supporters can get 100% locally generated renewable energy while helping to support Nature Museum programs too. Community Solar means no wires, panels, meters, inverters or physical installation of any kind. If you are a residential or small business customer of Central Hudson, the switch to Community Solar can be completed in a few short minutes through an online portal. After researching the opportunity for the Nature Museum, we chose PowerMarket's Community Solar option for both our Cornwall locations. We believe the choice will mean lower electric bills, and better alignment with our values and mission.
Enjoy guaranteed savings of up to 10% on your monthly Central Hudson bill. Through Nature Museum's partnership with the New Windsor Community Solar Project, you can receive a portion of the solar energy produced as a credit on your bill.
Monitor your solar array's energy production and track your bills and savings with our online PowerMarket dashboard. If you have a question you will be able to access your documents and data.

When you sign up for the New Windsor Community Solar Project, you will receive credits each month on your Central Hudson bill. These credits will go toward offsetting the cost of your bill, allowing you to save money and contribute to a more sustainable future. It's that simple. Here are the three easy steps to make it happen.
Fill out a subscription form with basic details (name, email, etc.) and have a recent Central Hudson bill handy. As you continue your registration, you’ll have to enter your Central Hudson account number and energy usage information so we can determine the right amount of the solar project to allocate to your bill.
Once you’ve subscribed, you will be given access to a personal dashboard where you can see the project's solar energy production, your document library (contract, bills, etc.) and your monthly savings.
You will start seeing savings on your Central Hudson bill a month or two after you subscribe to the New Windsor Community Solar Project.
